The award winning Darwin Armchair is beautifully handmade in solid English ash. The chair was designed by Dave Green of Sitting Firm and has pride of place in our Modern Windsor Collection.

The Darwin features traditionally steam-bent back sticks with generously sculpted back and arms for added comfort. Each seat is sumptuously upholstered using traditional methods and natural materials for both craftsmanship and comfort. The seat is lovingly wrapped in the iconic Garden of Beauty velvet from Liberty London.

Sumptuous British Velvet

Adding a touch of luxury to any room, Garden of Beauty was originally a scarf design inspired by archive illustrations of giant peonies and chrysanthemums clustered together to create a dense, vibrant arrangement.

The beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced shape makes the Darwin an extremely versatile chair for any setting - as a lounge, bedroom, desk or dining chair. A perfect choice to add a stylish touch to any room.
